In April of this year, my parents moved from their home of fifty years, into a two bedroom condo.   I spent weeks, along with my sister, sorting through their belongings, trying to get them to part with lots of stuff that I knew would not fit in their new place.   We live in a small town and there were no agencies to come in and help us or even give us advise. We knew that it would take months to empty  the house and six car garage, plus find values and buyers for the many collect ables, so we went to the Internet under estate sales.  That's when we found Caring Transitions.  We met with Lynn Malinowski and her husband, and from the first visit, we felt like we had someone taking care of everything.   They have a wonderful caring team that came in and went through everything, priced it,cleaned it and treated us so wonderfully.   They respected our posses ions and the connections we had to them.  They made suggestions about whether mom and dad should be there and they handled it all so professionally.  I had no idea what to expect to receive from all the stuff that I would probably thrown away, and were thrilled to get their check within a few days of the sale.   I would highly recommend their service to anyone going through this.   We have had the time to spend with mom and dad, helping them to settle in, instead of spending weeks and weeks in their garage trying to  empty it out.  I carry Lynn's business cards in my car, just in case I run across someone else who might need their service.
