Hello, I am Donna Binney and I opened Caring Transitions of Frederick, Howard and Carroll Counties with my sister-in-law Jeane Binney.  We shared the experience of caring for my widowed mother who after a sudden illness, required rehabilitation and a move to live with family here in Maryland.  We coordinated the logistics of her long distance move, downsizing, estate sale and sale of her home in Virginia.   We have seen many families and neighbors struggle during some of life’s most stressful and overwhelming times, such as a divorce, a life changing illness, the death of a loved one or the changing needs of an aging parent. This compelled us to start Caring Transitions, a business that provides help to Seniors and their families needing assistance coping with senior moving, downsizing and estate sales.

Not only are we passionate about serving our clients, but we are also passionate about serving the community. I volunteer with my church to visit residents in local nursing homes, deliver food baskets and coordinate donations to women's  shelters.   Jeane is on the board of a community theater and works as a volunteer to teach self defense skills to women and youth.
