Lisa Yoder and crew transformed the contents of a moderately full condo and garage into a clean, ready-to-list property. Lisa knows her stuff and made the onerous tasks of handling a loved one's belongings seem easy. This Caring Transition franchise made a profitable estate sale from neglect and chaos.
Especially noteworthy about our experience were these:
1) great explanation of services and the flexibility to tailor a package that fit our situation
2) ability to accommodate the work to the multiple and often conflicting mandates of family members, a homeowners' association and a municipality
3) dedicated effort to ensure the estate sale was profitable, particularly recognizing and properly pricing valuables

Bob and I want to thank you for your excellent handling of his mother’s estate. Bob’s mom passed away unexpectedly, leaving us with a house and effects gathered from 30+ years. I was almost in tears when I walked into the house. I didn’t know where to start. You arrived to give your assessment, and I asked you what I needed to do with the “stuff.” When you said, “Nothing,” I was almost in disbelief! You and your experienced team handled everything from foodstuffs to medicines to clothing to hazardous material, all with care and compassion. You staged the items beautifully for an estate sale, which yielded more than I would have thought. You cleaned the house to immaculate condition. You even donated old towels to animal shelters. Your coordination with the real estate agent during the sale of the house was most appreciated. Caring Transitions handled EVERYTHING, which was such a relief for us being out of town.

| Hello - Our Names are Dale & Lisa Yoder - Wednesday, January 27, 2010Lisa was raised in a family with six children. Her parents helped "make-ends-meet" by purchasing furnishings for their home at Estate Sales and Auctions. 
Lisa says, "As a child I loved going with my parents to these events. The variety of interesting items I saw made my mind wonder as to how things were made. How old they were? What the fair market value for the item was? And reminisce about the previous owners use and enjoyment of an item. These experiences gave me a passion to want to run Estate Sales."
To that end, after working in Corporate America we saw many professional children struggle during some of life’s most stressful and overwhelming times. Their responsibilities to their employer, their home, children, spouse and their parents - during a parent's illness, a divorce, or a death in the family - compelled us to start Caring Transitions. Our business provides help to families in need by providing estate sale services, home clean-out services, and senior citizen moving services.
